This policy outlines the warranty terms and conditions applicable to new and used accordions purchased from Accordionshop.ca. By purchasing an accordion from us, you agree to adhere to the following provisions:
- Servicing and Inspection: All accordions undergo thorough servicing, tuning, and inspection before being offered for sale.
- Warranty Duration: A 6-month warranty is provided for used accordions, while new accordions are covered by a 1-year warranty.
- Coverage: The warranty covers any malfunctioning notes or mechanisms, such as keys, buttons, and switches, within the specified duration. However, it does not cover broken reeds.
- Touch-Up Tuning: If your accordion requires touch-up tuning during the warranty period, please contact us for an assessment.
- Exclusions: Wear and tear of external materials, including straps and bellows, are not covered by the warranty. In the event of fixture issues, such as loose or missing parts like strap brackets or screws, we will reinstall or replace them at no additional cost, if possible. However, any additional parts needed will incur an extra charge.
- Exclusions of Misuse: Any damage resulting from misuse or improper storage of the accordion is not covered by the warranty.
- Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for covering shipping costs to and from our store for warranty-related services. Please refer to our Shipping and Repair Policies for further details.
- Warranty Claim Procedure: To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us via phone or email within the specified warranty period.
